2025 Arctic Circle Polar Dialogue

The 2025 Polar Dialogue will take place during the Arctic Circle Assembly.

The Polar Dialogue was launched in 2024 in conjunction with the Arctic Circle Business Forum as two brand-new initiatives within the Arctic Circle Assemblies.

The key focus is on science and research cooperation on the Arctic, Antarctic and the Himalaya - Third Pole region, as well as other ice covered areas of the world. The Polar Dialogue consists of a series of sessions, consultative meetings, workshops and high-level Plenary Sessions.

Call for Session Proposals

Governments, universities, companies, research institutions, organizations, associations and others are invited to submit Session proposals for the Arctic Circle Assembly. Broad participation of Indigenous representatives and diverse speaker backgrounds, affiliations and nationalities is strongly encouraged. The Polar Dialogue seeks to facilitate conversation on the value of Indigenous science-based knowledge systems, it unites global experts and policymakers to address scientific challenges and foster collaboration.

2024 Polar Dialogue

The Polar Dialogue was launched at the 2024 Arctic Circle Assembly and held within the Assembly area. More than 300 participants joined this inaugural event.
